IdeaRandis was born from a deep-rooted love for Italy — its beauty, its craftsmanship, and its soul.
Founder Valeria Randis grew up in Il Bel Paese, surrounded by history, art, and music. Born on the slopes of Mount Etna and raised near Milan, she carries the passion and resilience of Sicily in her heart, and the elegance and sophistication of Milan in her spirit — the city of Giorgio Armani and timeless Italian style.
Valeria holds a Degree in Law and a PhD in Constitutional Law, earned in her native Italy. Her early life was shaped by a strong sense of justice and human rights, values that often placed her in courageous positions to stand up for what she believed was right.
After moving to the United States to raise her family, Valeria felt a profound longing to stay connected to her roots. The Alps, the historic streets of Rome and Florence, and the morning walks through Milan’s artisan boutiques — all became cherished memories and a source of inspiration.
IdeaRandis is created from this strong “idea” to bring a part of Italy here in the U.S. where Valeria lives now.
IdeaRandis was conceived during a summer in Italy, sparked by a meaningful conversation with her father— a respected architect whose deep network and experience became an essential foundation for the company’s success. His presence in the project is not only symbolic of family and heritage, but also instrumental in connecting IdeaRandis to the finest artisans, suppliers, and collaborators across Italy.
It was in that moment that Valeria envisioned a brand that could bring the soul of Italian craftsmanship to her new home — a tribute to belonging, beauty, and the timeless value of relationships.
Today, IdeaRandis offers custom-crafted luxury furniture and architectural elements, proudly Made in Italy. Each piece reflects Valeria’s journey, her values, and her desire to share the artistry she grew up with — timeless design, impeccable materials, and the spirit of belonging.
